Michael Killip ~ Chef

Michael’s infectious passion for food, coupled with his charisma, presence and empowering personality have resulted in regular appearances as guest chef on such programs as Breakfast Television, CH at Home, Three Takes and Building Better Bodies. He educates, enlightens and entertains and as a result has been highlighted in such prominent culinary magazines as Gourmet as well as asked to appear at The Food and Wine Show on the Food Network Stage.

The first recipient of the Stratford Chef School‘s Miller Award, not only do his peers recognize his passion and abilities, his clientele have accredited him with The Reader’s Choice Award for Best Chef 7 times in the span of 10 years.

Michael’s moment came in 1993 when asked to join Paradiso as head chef. What had been his vision for so many years now became a reality – his chance to create his kitchen and weave the ambiance and atmosphere. For the next nine years, this became the platform for Michael to further develop and explore his talent within the industry. With Paradiso as his developing ground, the best was yet to come.

In 2002, Michael’s years of hard work came to fruition with the opening of his own restaurant – The Twisted Fork in beautiful Bronte. A collage of ideas and the limitless freedom to explore, twist and create, The Twisted Fork is the stage that allows Michael to continue to explore who he is.
